We predominantly service the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne – from Glen Iris & Blackburn, down to Narre Warren and Frankston. We provide mobile physiotherapy straight to your home – whether you’re living by yourself, in a community village, or in an aged care residence.
Should we need to do a functional assessment or our therapy session in the community, we can also meet you there! This can be a gym, pool, or even the local community centre.
Even if you don’t live in our usual service area, no fret! We can still come to you, no matter what tricky situation you are in!
We endeavour to contact you within 2 business days. We try to minimise waiting periods as much as possible, but may have to prioritise those that are at higher risk of deterioration.
Based on our current availabilities, and depending on matching our availability to yours, it typically takes around 1 week before your first visit!
Yes – as best we can! We try out utmost best to match our availability to yours. Nonetheless, due to being mobile clinicians, we endeavour to arrange appointments according to the most efficient route. Often, this means that we will try to schedule clients around the area during similar times and dates.
This enables us to maximise the number of clients we can assist, but also helps keep cost down for you by avoiding excess travel.
Whilst every effort is made to work to your requirements, please understand that we cannot offer as much appointment flexibility as a private clinic.
Private clients do not need referrals to see our clinicians!
If you are with a government-funded scheme, your case manager or support service coordinator are usually the ones who refer to us!
If you have found us directly, you just have to book in and wait for your appointment! We will organise any administrative paperwork needed.
Private clients do not need referrals to see our clinicians! If you are with a government-funded scheme, please read on below:
We factor in traffic and travel as part of our scheduling process, and always book in a set time and date for our appointments with you at least two days in advance.
However, there might be occasions when the therapist might be running late due to unforeseen circumstances such as sudden changes or unpredictable traffic conditions, emergencies, or difficult situations during a previous client’s appointment.
We ask for your understanding if your therapist runs 5-10 minutes late to your appointment. We will let you know if we predict we will run more than 10 minutes earlier or later than the predicted time.
We pride ourselves on being flexible in our approach to each session. We utilise your space, and the tools and equipment that you have in order to create our programs.
It would be tremendously beneficial if you have a list of your relevant medical conditions, medications, and the results of any scans, or other documents (including referrals) relating to your injury/condition.
Since our clinicans may perform manual therapy, please ensure appropriate clothing is being worn.
Please also ensure that your home is free of hazards (your lovely pets may have to be in another room!), and is safe for our therapists to enter. As we are constantly visiting people’s homes and new environments, we reserve the right to not proceed with the session should there be a threat to our clinicians’ safety.
Our initial physiotherapy sessions are approximately 45-minutes. We endeavour to understand your condition, struggles and your goals. If we have time, we may provide some treatment and some exercise for you to do at home, provided it is appropriate and safe to do so.
Subsequent sessions are typically 30 or 45 minutes, with the focus on working towards your goals, tailored to your condition on the day. We focus on completing higher-level and/or physio-led therapy that you cannot do by yourself at home or with your family/carers.
We also have hydrotherapy, complete equipment reviews and recommendations, and other non-standard and tailored consults.
Myotherapy and remedial massage go for either 45 or 60 minutes.
Please contact us to find out more.
Once your case manager has contacted us, we will contact you to schedule a time for our initial consultation. We will then write up a report within the next 2-3 days to send to your case manager +/- your family for approval for subsequent physiotherapy sessions.
Should you only need remedial massage and already have a referral, massages can be provided by our myotherapist in the initial session. A short report will still be created in order to gain approval for subsequent sessions.
Your case manager will then review this report before approving further sessions. There are often-times delays of at least a week in this, and as such, we may advise you that the subsequent session be funded out-of-pocket to cover any gaps in service – if needed.
We will periodically review your program and update your case manager, which will undergo the same general review process described above.
In general, When you are first referred to us, your support coordinator will release a few hours for us to utilise for assessments. Depending on your plan, your support coordinator, and the cycle of your plan, we may need to do an initial NDIS report.
During which, we can also provide therapy as needed (depending on the hours in your budget).
Prior to the end of your budget, we will need to create another report to support your plan review.
Due to the hollistic nature of our assessments, we require a full initial physiotherapy assessment to be completed prior to going in the pool.
During the intiial, will assess your suitability to be in the pool as well, your overall function, and discuss your other concerns. We will then recommend any further medical clearance or safety strategies needed prior to entry.
Our pricing includes all entry fees.
Yes, all our physiotherapists can provide therapeutic/remedial massage, if indicated, as part of our treatment approach, and we may be able to bring a treatment table. However, our philosophy primarily revolves around active treatment rather than passive therapy, although both can be incorporated.
As we are mobile clinicians, please do note that we must always take into consideration the OH & S risks of providing such treatment in a non-clinic setting.
Should you only require remedial massage, or require full-length remedial massage treatments, we will refer you to our myotherapist, who will have all the necessary equipment for a remedial massage session.
In cases where we feel that we still cannot provide the required manual therapy, we can always refer you on to our network of private practice clinicians who can provide services which complement what we offer.
Please see our price list here.
For privately-funded clients, please exclude any GST.
Please reach out to us for more details.
Yes! We accept EPC referrals from your doctor. However, there will still be gap fees involved. You will have to submit a claim via Medicare to receive the relevant reimbursements.
We understand that there might be change of circumstances preventing you from being able to attend your scheduled appointment. If there is a need to do so, please give us at least 24 hours prior notice (excluding weekends and public holidays), or for NDIS clients, we require 48 hours notice.
This allows us to make changes to our schedule ahead of time and see other clients who require our services.
Should we receive it a late notice, we may charge a cancellation fee at our discretion.
